MOMEDS — an organisation run by students of different colleges handed over 400 essential dengue testing kits to Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Wednesday.
MOMEDS works to raise awareness and extend healthcare benefits to the underprivileged people in Bangladesh.
MOMEDS made its inception during the peaks of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Founder and CEO of MOMEDS Ikmal Momin handed over the dengue testing kits to high officials of DMCH. Senior officials from both the organisation were present on the occasion.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, MOMEDS facilitated numerous donation projects where they donated essential medical equipment such as Medical Oxygen Cylinders, Nasal Cannula, Essential Medications, Wheelchairs, etc. to several underdeveloped hospitals across Bangladesh.
Along with that, MOMEDS has also facilitated free medical camps across Dhaka to provide primary healthcare checkups to the less privileged.
